Bonjour ♦ BIENVENUE ♦ Welcome
(looking for Part Three? <March Reveal> Please find it here: https://parisiennegirldesign.wordpress.com/2015/03/19/build-a-line-challenge-from-bsue-boutiques-lori-meyer-from-parisienne-girl-part-3/)
I’m so glad you hopped onto my blog today! I’m Lori Meyer, owner and artist at Parisienne Girl Designs www.parisiennegirl.com.
Today is Part One of a Three-Part blog hop sponsored by B’sue Boutiques www.bsueboutiques.com and our ‘Build a Line Challenge’.
The challenge is a three-month long, virtual master class in the successful launch of a cohesive line of jewelry. I’m honored to be joining over 50 respected jewelry artists from around the world in this venture. At the end of this challenge, we will each reveal our completed new line of jewelry with a minimum of five (5) pieces in our chosen style.
Today’s post is an introduction to each artist ~ who we are, our creative background and process, and a quick peek into our proposed lines.
So grab a hot cup of coffee or tea, and I’ll tell you a little bit about me.
I love Sparkle! My love affair started as a young girl when I spent hours with my great-grandmother marveling at her jewelry collection and learning about the art of blending sparkly costume pieces with classic fine jewelry.
Fast forward to 2009: after a successful career as a corporate banker, I returned to my true love… jewelry!
Parisienne Girl Designs was started to create modern, elegant jewelry using upcycled vintage and classic costume jewels. Why Parisienne Girl? From the first moment I landed in Paris, I knew I had found my style- and heart-home. Stylish women of all ages embracing classic lines with continental panache and that je ne sais quoi (certain something). It’s that legacy of timeless style and chic, sophisticated elegance that I bring to my designs.
It has been my honor to create jewelry for thousands of stylish women, including red carpet appearances by established Hollywood icons, and young starlets (your secret is safe with me… I’ll never tell that you’re wearing rhinestones!). I’ve designed for Presidential Inaugural Balls, Cabaret & Theatre productions, and hundreds of brides, bridal parties, and fashionistas around the world.
Here are my design assistants & constant companions jumping in to say ‘Hello’:
So What’s New for 2015?
I’m excited to announce my new line for 2015 is “Treasured Tokens”.
Have you ever gone looking for that perfect jewelry accessory that spoke to your soul? That one piece that in a single glance said “That’s Me!”?
I know I have… for myself and as treasured gifts.
With the start of a new year, I’m delighted to create a new line of jewelry expressly designed to celebrate our individuality. A line of bracelets, necklaces and earrings featuring charms and crystals with expressions of love, personal totems, inspirational tokens and more.
I can’t wait to share them with you! …and hope you’ll follow along with my progress as the line develops, evolves, and is ready for purchase. Just click on the Blue “Follow” button at the top right of this page to get all the latest scoop.
Please Comment! I would love to hear what you think!!
